Confidence level

Story told by a man which is most frightening yet thought-provoking experiences of his life.

He had been on a long flight. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign on the airplane flashed on: "Fasten your seat belts."

Then, after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure yourseat belt is fastened."

As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."

And then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One momentthe airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next, it dropped as if it were about to crash.

The man confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly allthe passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying.

The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm. And then, I suddenly saw a girl to whom the storm meant nothing. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat on her seat and was reading a book.

Everything within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm, when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid."

The man could hardly believe his eyes. It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and allthe passengers were hurrying to disembark, he lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time.

Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.

The sweet child replied,

"Sir, my Dad is the pilot and he is taking me home."

when you are sure of your self, your confident level is steady and you are never shaky you do the things calmly and successfully.

Grow Green, Green Going...

The need of the hour is to plant as many saplings as you can around your house, sides of avenues, roadsides, parks and where ever possible to make a healthy climate around us.
Marching towards a hi-tech infrastructure of roads and buildings, the Govt. has initiated cutting trees alongside the NH roads. One such seriously affected is NH 209 which connects Gudalur in Nilgiris and Nagapattinam.
The trees alongside the road stretching from Gounder Mills towards Mettupalayam has already suffered life down, even the roots are also plucked with an earth moving machine which seems to be a monster for the past.
Those who take a regular trip to Mettupalayam will hereafter suffer a direct sunlight and thirst for a shade to cover.
Tough Going.
In future trees and shades has to be found only in hilly areas, for those in coimbatore, have to travel for 80 Km, probably to nilgiris to show the forthcoming generation to know whereabouts of trees.

Enriching the infrastructure is laudable. But at the cost of (?).

Ok. Past is past... Get ready to face the future.
I always remember.. "And miles to go..."

kinder garten went past

Yes today is my last day at kindergarten, completed my last exam ( drawing ) just this afternoon. This day is remarkably pleasant, when my class teacher shared the Thanks giving greetings with the neighbouring class teacher about my wishes and thanks in the form of a Greeting Card exclusively created by my dad on a black chart.

My Teachers Sabeena miss and Tamilarasi miss extended their thanks to my parents.
At this instance I wish my thanks for the Mona miss too, who resigned her job in the mid of the year.

I thanked all my teachers for providing me a good teaching, support, caring during my kindergarten years. Special thanks to Sailakshmi miss and Yamuna miss who cared me during my l.k.g. I am the pet of them too.

That was nice days to cherish and memoir. Thank you nursery school.

My Daddy

The sweetest person in the world is my Dad. I always astonished about his love and care on me.

In my young days he used to say that 'I will start beating you after the age of 5'. (He felt that I was not understandable and matured in those days. Thatz true too.) I too afraid of getting into that age. But things were different when i reach 5. He starting taking extra care and affection to build me into a great child, daughter, student, achiever and an astro scientist. Most importantly a true citizen. He gets me everything before i am in need of it. My goals started roaring even before the start of my first standard which starts from June 2010.

I thought these lines to blog, on a pleasant evening (around 6.45 pm) when I walked with my mom and dad on either sides, swinging inbetween joint hands, joint, through the green lawn of the park (Ulaga semmozhi poonga) near our residence.

I took up in mind. Promises to keep and Miles to go.....
